Leadership Training
Our leadership training classes have started!  Our next class will begin at 8:45 am next Sunday.  This class is for anyone who would like to consider leading a small group, finding out what small groups are all about, and anyone who is interested in learning more about how to be a leader. (Taking this class DOES NOT mean that you have to be a leader.)  We will watch DVD messages from some of the top persons in church leadership like Francis Chan, Tim Ross, and George Barna; then we will discuss the presentation.  The classes will run through the summer and will conclude by 10:15 AM in time for worship.

11:30 AM Bible Class News!  We will be meeting after the 10:30 summer service. We are diving into the book of Hebrews and looking at the nature of Christ's ministry, then and now.  If you are interested in joining us, please do!  We gather in the Something In Common classroom around 9:30 am Sundays.

Help Children’s Worship Service!  We are searching for volunteers to lead and assist with Children’s Worship Service and keep it going!  All routines, music, and teaching plans are provided.  If you can help as a leader or an aide, please see Jenise Fraser 218-7802 or Becky Langer 468-2711.

What is Angel Food?  Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities in the US.  Each month's menu is different and there are no applications or qualifications necessary!  Just contact the office with your order by 9 am the 2nd Monday of each month and pick up in McConnell Hall on the last Saturday of each month.  Menus and order forms are available at the “Information Station” in the Narthex or on www.angelfoodministries.org

I have some very exciting news!  We will host for Family Promise for the first time Sept. 5th -Sept. 11th.   We had 11 church members attend the first training session and need at least 20 more volunteers.  Anyone who seeks to be a  volunteer can attend one of the three sessions being offered.  They will begin at 7 pm and end by 9 pm or before.
