LOOKING AHEAD:
9:30 AM Bible Class News! We are diving into the book of Hebrews and looking at the nature of Christ's ministry, then and now. If you are interested in joining us, please do! We gather in the Something In Common classroom around 9:30 am Sundays.
Help Children’s Worship Service! We are searching for volunteers to lead and assist with Children’s Worship Service and keep it going! We are still looking for teachers and helpers for March 14 and March 21. All routines, music, and teaching plans are provided. If you can help as a leader or an aide, please see Jenise Fraser 218-7802 or Becky Langer 468-2711.
Save Your Empty Baby Food Jars! Your empty baby food jars are needed to make something from nothing! Mentally disabled children use these baby food jars to create their own masterpieces! Please leave your donation in McConnell Hall to be collected. If you have any questions, please see Lorraine Beckett 468-6749
What is Angel Food? Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities in the US. Each month's menu is different and there are no applications or qualifications necessary! Just contact the office with your order by 9 am the 2nd Monday of each month and pick up in McConnell Hall on the last Saturday of each month. Menus and order forms are available at the “Information Station” in the Narthex or on www.angelfoodministries.org
ALERT! ALERT! Beginning 1/1/10 you can put your nice and clean unwanted items on the stage. It’s the desire of the class to payoff the outstanding roof balance of over $3,000.00. So we need a LOT of STUFF to reach our goal. See any JUG class member or Janet Fuhrer (848-9986) for questions regarding the yard sale.
Attention All TD Bank Customers and Potential Customers! Announcing the Affinity Membership Program! If you have or would be willing to open a checking, savings, money market, CD, or retirement account at TD Bank, TD Bank will donate ½% on checking balances and ¼% on savings balances. Anyone who opens a new non-interest bearing checking account will receive a $25.00 deposit. This program does not affect your accounts. The bank calculates the amount of the donation based on your account balances and all information is kept confidential. Our goal is to have 50 accounts as a part of this program. To register your existing account, to open an account, or to have any questions answered, stop by the table during Coffee Fellowship on March 7, where a representative from TD Bank will be present. You can also stop by the branch that you use and ask to have your accounts included as a part of The United Methodist Church of Mantua’s Affinity Membership Program. This program has been approved by our Finance Team.
ROCK THE BLOCK is back! If you like food, fun and fellowship, this is your opportunity to pitch in! We need volunteers to help in every aspect, minglers, chefs, set up, clean up, organizers, workers, leaders, donations,…See Maria Kreh or Donna Hanahan to find out how YOU can help!
