God's Renewed Creation: A Call to Hope and Action
In a statement that says, “We cannot help the world until we change our way of being in it,” the bishops of The United Methodist Church announced a significant call to all United Methodists, ecumenical and inter-religious partners and people of goodwill around the world. Click Here to read this letter called God's Renewed Creation: A Call to Hope and Action. We will share this document in some way on April 25 during worship. A six week study of the letter will follow.

Lenten Bible Study
We will be viewing the movie “The Cross” on Feb 24, and then will be discussing it on the following Wednesdays of Lent.
The Cross tells the powerful story of Arthur Blessitt, an amazing and unique individual who has accomplished something no one else ever has: For the past 40 years this simple man of faith has carried a twelve-foot wooden cross across 315 nations, territories, and island groups—to every inhabited place in the world.
The movie's director, Matthew Crouch, explained that from the beginning he was intrigued by Blessitt's unique mission. "I wanted to explore exactly what it is that drives a man like this," explained Crouch, who is producing the film with veteran filmmakers Richard J. Cook and Stephan Blinn. "Is he crazy? Is he a fanatic? Or is something else deep and profound driving him on?"
