Denise Stewart, is the elected lay member of the Greater New Jersey annual conference, as elected by our church at the Church Conference. Lay members to the Greater New jersey Annual Conference (GNJUMC) are elected to represent our congregation in setting the conference's direction for mission and ministry. She will join other lay and clergy members in a time to worship God, learn about ministry God is calling the church to lead, set direction for the church, meet other United Methodists, and tend to administrative matters for ministry. She has a responsibility to inform others in the local church about the experience. We celebrate her, and her willingness to represent our congregation. The GNJUMC is meeting in Valley Forge, PA this year from May 29-31, 2008.

Hi Everyone! As Lay Member to Annual Conference I freely invite anyone to express their feelings on any issue you have a passion about regarding the church body and policies. I truely want to represent our church when asked to vote on the issues at hand. I'm not sure yet what issues will be forthcoming at the conference. However, there are plenty of commonly known issues that I would like to hear your opinions on in this forum. I look forawrd to hearing from you. Denise
